Jim and LeLani Harris came to Crescent Park in the summer of 2013.  They have three children: Shannon, Aaron, and Heath.  Jim has preached fulltime for congregations in California, Colorado, and Texas.  During his early years, Jim grew up in Littlefield, and his return to preach here at Crescent Park has been a homecoming for him.  He has

Jim and LeLani Harris came to Crescent Park in the summer of 2013.  They have three children: Shannon, Aaron, and Heath.  Jim has preached fulltime for congregations in California, Colorado, and Texas.  During his early years, Jim grew up in Littlefield, and his return to preach here at Crescent Park has been a homecoming for him.  He has written nine books during his time in ministry, including "Recover the Dream: A Call to Mainstream Churches of Christ," "An Evaluation of Ministerial Preparation in Schools of Preaching," "Edification: A Refined Focus for the Assembly," and "A Theology of Ministry: Acting in Behalf of God."  Jim is a graduate of Bakersfield College (A.A.), Abilene Christian University (B.S., M.S.), and Masters University of Divinity (D.Div).  He also did coursework with Texas Tech (Pre-Ministry), Lubbock Christian University (Graduate Bible), and UTA Arlington (Humanities Ph.D. program, History Ph.D. program).
